After living in the US for about 9 years, I am returning to my native Democratic Republic of the Congo for a few months which will be the longest period of time I will be spending there since 1990. This blog will allow me to share with you the challenges, frustrations and joys I face there, the observations I make, the things that catch my eye, the work I will hopefully be doing, and – as much as is safe with the police there – the pictures I take.
